Lockdown music from WRM

To help people who are struggling right now, Wiltshire Rural Music is offering 'musical phone calls' to people of all ages who might feel the benefit of having a chat, listening to some live music and being taken out of the loneliness of their average day.

One recent call involved Gavin of WRM singing Bob Dylan and Buddy Holly songs to someone living with dementia in Calne, who was "tapping his feet" and seemed to really enjoy the experience.

If you or someone you know is a carer, or you know of a family member at home who could benefit from this, then get in touch with WRM. If you let WRM know the type of music they especially enjoy, they can try to find musicians to match.

Donations are acceptable and will be used to continue the work of spreading the music in Wiltshire. wrm
