Grass may safely grow

March 31, 2020 9:17 PM

Wiltshire Council is cutting back on cutting grass this spring and summer. Only areas that are 'key or a safety issue' will be mown. Verges will not be cut unless they're on a safety sightline.

The council expects to be able to maintain less hedgehog grass naturegrass, for example in open spaces and cemeteries, and will scale back operations to essential services only.

Residents are asked to be patient and to understand that grassed area appearances may not match their expectations this year.
