Bus cash for Wiltshire

February 24, 2020 11:11 AM

The government has made available £671,000 for Wiltshire Council to help preserve elements of its surviving bus service network. The council will be submitting a 'statement of intent' before the 13th March deadline saying how it would spend the money if confirmed.

Many bus routes have suffered partial or total cuts in recent years, so this is a welcome change in attitude.

Town and Parish Councils will be asked for suggestions for enhancements to bus services in their area.
