Two heads are better than three, according to WC

Soon after its formation, Wiltshire Council got rid of its chief executive and had a triumverate of semior officers running the show. Now with a new leader of council in Philip Whitehead it's been announced that one of the three will go, leaving two chiefs. One will deal with 'People' and one with 'Place'.

People person is Terence Herbert and Place man is Alistair Herbert. The third man, Carlton Brand, departs in January having taken voluntary redundancy. There's also expected to be a further review of the next tier of directors..
