A message to Wiltshire from young people in Torquay:

October 25, 2019 7:17 AM

Torky"Many under 18's have strong views on climate change but they are struggling to have their voices heard.

"Please click on this link to see a 2-minute video linked to a parliamentary petition The song is a green version of Billy Joel's 'we didn't start the fire', and the petition is for the Government to consult with focus groups of young people when creating climate change policy.

"We are doing well, we have a written letter of support from David Attenborough and currently have had 60,000 views. We were also mentioned in the climate debate in Parliament. However we need 100,000 signatures to get the government to debate our petition.

I am sure you want your young people in Wiltshire to inherit a healthy planet, so we were hoping you would sign our petition and forward our video and petition to all your contacts because;

They didn't start the fire!

But now it's really burning

and the temperatures turning"
