Sign up to receive your garden waste bin

August 30, 2011 12:49 PM

People who live in the old Salisbury District Council area are being encouraged to sign up for Wiltshire Council's fortnightly collection of garden waste.

Residents who wish to take advantage of the new non-chargeable fortnightly collection of garden waste, should sign up by September 30 to start receiving the service in spring 2012.

You can sign up online or by phoning the council on 0300 456 0102.

The garden waste collection service is part of a range of improvements to the council's waste and recycling service, which will start to be rolled out from October.

Residents of the old West Wiltshire area already have free green bin collections and don't need to do anything.
